For Children

Programs and services especially for children.

Our philosophy is to foster the love of books and reading in each child.

Our Children's Room is located in the lower level of the Library.  You may enter from the upstairs or use the ramp entrance, facing Vine Street, to the south of the upstairs door. In addition to our wonderful collection of books, we have movies and magazines, as well as games and puzzles, and Tonies boxes, figures and games to check out!

Story Time for kids of all ages occurs weekly on Tuesday at 10:15 am. Come see us after preschool pick up, and before lunch time! Crafts available anytime you visit the library - just ask at the Children's desk.

STEAM Club for school age students occurs on Early Out Wednesdays from 1:30-3:00. Staff will lead students (and accompanying adults!) in activities rooted in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Activities will change weekly, so check https://www.facebook.com/glenwoodlibrary for most recent information.

If you have questions about our Children's materials or programs, please contact the youthservices@glenwoodlibrary.org.
