Support Our Library

Your support for the library will strengthen and expand our mission to serve every one in our service area. Your support is requested for outreach programs, for collections, and for special projects. Your support will demonstrate your appreciation for and understanding of the value in a civilized society of access to information. Ask the library staff what you can do to support our library.

Opportunities to show support:

Join the Friends of the Library: Friends of the Library is a nonprofit advocacy organization which supports the Library. Our volunteer members advocate, educate, and raise funds on behalf of the Library, its patrons, and the community.
The Glenwood Library Foundation: The Foundation raises funds to supplement, not supplant, the Library's tax-based support. In creating an endowment, the Foundation builds a long-term, stable funding opportunity.

You may support the Glenwood Public Library Foundation with any of the following:  Estate Gifts, Planned Giving, Gifts of Money, Securities, Property & Real Estate, Charitable Trusts, Bequests and Insurance Policies.  100% of the funds benefit the library.

Memorial / Honor Donation:  To honor someone special, a bookplate will be placed inside a book or other item purchased for the library.  A card will be sent letting the family know of this honor you made in their name.
