Children can hear the teen's favorite books!

The Glenwood Public Library is offering weekly family storytimes for children ages 3-5 every Tuesday during the month of June, from 10 – 11 a.m. These unique sessions will feature our 2012 Summer Reading Program theme, “Dream Big - - Read!”  Storytimes are free and no registration is required.

On June 19, Mister Ted will have special help in presenting storytime: It’s Teen Read Storytime! Glenwood High School students will choose a book to read at storytime. This will help them gain valuable experience working with children, bring together young and old library users, and give regular storytime attendees some variety!

On June 26, for the final storytime in our Summer Reading Program, Mister Ted will be bringing in special guests from the community! Representatives from the Glenwood Police Department, the Glenwood Fire Department, Sugar High Makery, and the Opinion-Tribune  will talk about their jobs and what they do for the community, and Mister Ted will read books to teach kids about what they could grow up to do. Come join us for Big Dreams Storytime!
